Shift Type: Three 12-hour day shifts per week (example: Monday/Wednesday/Friday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) — Day shift, 36 hours/week

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients using evidence-based assessment tools to identify communication and swallowing needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that drive measurable progress
- Provide direct therapy and consultative services to patients, families, and staff
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately and timely in the medical record
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and optimize outcomes
- Educate caregivers and facility staff on strategies to support carryover and safety
- Maintain compliance with facility, state, and professional standards and documentation requirements
Qualifications
- Active Montana SLP license or eligible for Montana licensure
- Master's or clinically relevant graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA-accredited program preferred)
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred but not required; willingness to pursue if needed
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required/preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Assessment and treatment of adult/pediatric communication and swallowing disorders
- Dysphagia management and safe feeding strategies
- Experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) options
- Skilled in creating measurable goals and documenting functional outcomes
- Comfortable working within interdisciplinary teams and educating caregivers
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and responsive documentation practices
