Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide quality therapeutic interventions under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and function
- Document treatments clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner
- Collaborate effectively with PTs, rehab staff, nursing teams, and families
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility standards and guidelines
- Promote a positive, professional, and patient-focused therapy environment
Qualifications
- Active PTA license in the state of California (required)
- Experience in skilled nursing facility or rehab settings preferred; new grads welcome for contract roles
- Strong communication skills and clinical judgment
- Teamwork mindset and ability to collaborate across disciplines
- Dependable, flexible, and committed to excellent patient care
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of physical therapy interventions and patient care
- Clinical documentation best practices and timely charting
- Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
- Teamwork and collaboration within a rehab/skilled nursing environment
- Ability to work with diverse patient populations and adapt treatment plans
