Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the rehabilitation department to ensure smooth, patient-centered care
- Manage therapy staff schedules, caseloads and productivity to optimize outcomes
- Ensure compliance with state, federal and facility regulations to maintain high standards
- Support therapists with evaluations, treatment planning and clinical guidance
- Facilitate clear communication between therapy, nursing and administrative teams
- Monitor documentation for accuracy and timeliness to protect patients and the facility
- Lead hiring, onboarding, training and performance development to build a great team
- Foster a positive, patient-focused environment that prioritizes quality rehabilitation services
Qualifications
- Licensed PT, OT, SLP or licensed assistant (PTA or COTA) in California (required)
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a rehab setting preferred
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows, documentation standards and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered rehabilitation services

- Clinical leadership and team management

- Regulatory compliance in skilled nursing and rehab settings
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to mentor and develop clinicians and support staff
- Organizational skills to manage schedules, caseloads and productivity metrics
