Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate overnight nursing care to patients in the assigned unit
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
• Monitor patient status, perform assessments, and report changes promptly
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care
• Document care and patient responses clearly in the electronic health record
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and safe patient transfers
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to facility policies and protocols

Qualifications

• Current, active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to work overnight shifts reliably
• Clear background check and health screening as required by facility
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and monitoring skills
• Medication administration and IV/line familiarity
• Proficient documentation in electronic health records
• Ability to prioritize and respond in fast-paced situations
• Comfort working independently during overnight hours
• Good interpersonal skills for patient and family education
