Shift Type: 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM (Evening shift, Shift 2). Days vary based on facility scheduling.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside nursing care to residents and patients, making each day safer and more comfortable
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families about care needs, medications, and follow-up
- Maintain safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance at all times
- Support admissions, discharges, and transfers to keep patient flow smooth and efficient
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — RN selected for this posting
- Eligible to practice in Delaware (state license or compact privilege as applicable)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification recommended or required per facility policy
- Comfortable working in long-term care / skilled nursing environments
- Strong teamwork, communication, and patient-centered mindset
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN for RN; Practical Nursing diploma for LPN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical assessment and nursing judgment
- Medication administration and documentation accuracy
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and staff
- Good time management and the ability to prioritize competing tasks
- Understanding of infection control and resident safety practices
