Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assist patients with activities of daily living
• Support the nursing team with safe transfers, positioning, and mobility assistance
• Monitor and report patient condition changes to the nursing staff promptly
• Document care accurately and maintain clear communication with the care team
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients and families
• Contribute to a positive team culture by collaborating with colleagues and supporting unit needs

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Active state authorization to practice in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain it promptly
• CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings is a plus
• Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient-centered care and bedside manner
• Skill in assisting with ADLs and basic patient hygiene
• Basic vital sign measurement and comfort with reporting findings
• Infection control practices and safe handling procedures
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Dependability, time management, and attention to detail
