Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents in the Doctor's Rehab area
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Perform regular patient assessments and promptly report changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the care team to implement individualized care plans
• Support residents and families with education and clear communication about care goals
• Maintain accurate clinical records and follow facility policies and state regulations

Qualifications

• Current LPN license for the state of Maryland (or RN license if applying as an RN)
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable administering medications and performing routine nursing procedures
• Previous experience in rehab, long-term care, or similar settings is a plus
• Able to pass background check and drug screening as required by facility

Education

• LPN: Licensed Practical Nurse diploma or equivalency from an accredited program
• RN applicants: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) as applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical observation skills
• Familiarity with rehabilitation nursing principles and wound care
• Accurate medication administration and charting skills
• Good communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff
• Basic computer skills for electronic medical record documentation
