Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as an LPN or RN at the bedside
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to facility policy
- Assess patient condition, document findings, and communicate changes to the care team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and update individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and support smooth shift-to-shift handoffs
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license (or Licensed Practical Nurse where applicable); NC state licensure preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS/PALS as required by facility is a plus
- Active clinical experience in med-surg, long-term care, or related nursing settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Ability to pass required background and health screenings for facility onboarding
Education
- For RN: Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ADN/BSN) from an accredited program
- For LPN: Vocational/Practical Nursing diploma or certificate from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of medication administration and nursing best practices
- Comfortable with electronic medical records and documentation
- Strong assessment and clinical judgement skills
- Patient education and family communication skills
- Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
