Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients, using clinical judgment to prioritize care
• Administer medications and treatments safely, following facility protocols
• Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families
• Document patient status and interventions clearly and timely in the chart
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and execute care plans
• Support rehabilitation goals in the Uptown Hlth/Rhb area to help patients progress

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license valid in New Mexico
• Clinical experience in nursing practice, comfortable with med administration and patient assessment
• Current Basic Life Support CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Ability to work a full daytime clinical shift and collaborate with a rehab-focused care team
• Professional, dependable, and patient-centered approach

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, diploma, or BSN).

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical decision making
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Familiarity with rehabilitation care principles and supporting patient mobility goals
• Clear, concise charting and handoff communication
• Teamwork and the ability to coordinate with therapists and other clinical staff
