Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating nights (schedule set by facility, may include weekends), 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (overnight)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside nursing care to patients, monitoring status and responding to changes
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans
- Perform skilled nursing tasks such as wound care, IV assistance as appropriate to license
- Educate patients and families about care plans, medications and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate, timely charting in the electronic medical record
- Adhere to infection control, safety protocols and facility policies to protect patients and staff
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in good standing (or eligible for state licensure)
- Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience preferred (acute care, rehab or similar)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS/PALS a plus depending on unit
- Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass facility background checks and drug screens
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts and occasional weekend rotations
Education
- Vocational Nursing Certificate or LPN diploma; completion of an accredited LPN program
- High school diploma or GED required
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing procedures
- Proficiency with patient assessment and monitoring
- Comfortable with electronic charting systems and documentation best practices
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time and respond to emergencies calmly
- Good interpersonal skills for patient/family education and team collaboration
