Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents and patients
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per facility policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and follow care plans
• Monitor patient condition, recognize changes, and escalate concerns promptly
• Maintain clear, timely charting and handoffs to ensure continuity of care
• Support residents' daily living needs while promoting dignity and independence
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and follow infection control standards

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in good standing (Delaware licensure or compact RN where applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained upon hire
• Previous clinical experience preferred; strong clinical judgment and bedside skills
• Current CPR certification and any facility-specific certifications as required
• Clear background check and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• LPN: Completed LPN diploma or certificate program
• RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid medication administration and IV/line management knowledge
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
• Strong assessment skills and the ability to prioritize patient needs
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities with patients, families, and staff
• Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple care responsibilities
