Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate patient care in the registered nurse role
• Perform thorough assessments and develop patient-focused care plans
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including therapists and physicians
• Support patient and family education to promote recovery and independence
• Monitor patient progress and escalate changes in condition promptly
• Contribute to a positive unit culture by mentoring peers and sharing best practices

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse classification noted (Class: RN|LPN)
• Valid nursing license appropriate for practice (state licensing to be arranged as needed)
• Previous experience in acute care or rehabilitation settings is a strong plus
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred; additional certifications welcomed
• Professional communication skills and ability to work well on a team

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, diploma, or LPN program)
• BSN preferred when available

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
• Medication administration and safety practices
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and accurate charting
• Good critical thinking and prioritization in fast-paced environments
• Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
