Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate patient care during evening and overnight hours
- Assess patient conditions, implement care plans and document clinical findings accurately
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and transitions
- Monitor patient responses and escalate changes in condition promptly
- Educate patients and families to support recovery and discharge planning
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse license for the state of New Mexico (or compact eligible) required
- Recent clinical experience in a similar acute care setting preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications welcomed
- Ability to work assigned night shift hours and adapt to travel assignment routines
- Reliable professional communication skills and a patient-centered mindset
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- LPN applicants may be considered where applicable per facility classification
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills in adult patient care
- Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate charting
- Effective team communication and handoff practices
- Time management and prioritization during high-acuity/night hours
