Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate patient care during evening and overnight hours
• Assess patient conditions, implement care plans and document clinical findings accurately
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and transitions
• Monitor patient responses and escalate changes in condition promptly
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and discharge planning

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse license for the state of New Mexico (or compact eligible) required
• Recent clinical experience in a similar acute care setting preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications welcomed
• Ability to work assigned night shift hours and adapt to travel assignment routines
• Reliable professional communication skills and a patient-centered mindset

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
• LPN applicants may be considered where applicable per facility classification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills in adult patient care
• Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate charting
• Effective team communication and handoff practices
• Time management and prioritization during high-acuity/night hours
