Location: Farmington, ME
Shift Type: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, evenings (days may vary depending on assignment)
Hours per Week: 43
Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Assist nursing team with vital signs, toileting, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Observe, document and report changes in resident condition promptly and accurately
- Support safe transfers and use of assistive devices to protect residents and staff
- Build trusting relationships with residents and families through respectful communication
- Participate in team huddles and follow care plans to deliver consistent, high-quality care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
- State CNA registry active (Maine preferred or ability to transfer/reciprocity)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association preferred or willing to obtain
- Reliable work history and ability to pass background and health screenings
- Compassionate attitude, strong communication skills, and ability to work as part of a team
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic nursing principles and infection control practices
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and safe resident handling
- Strong observation and documentation skills
- Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively with nursing staff
- Good time management and a calm, patient-centered approach
