Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents — assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with safe transfers and mobility to help residents stay active and confident
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, intake/output, and routine observations
- Report changes in resident condition promptly to nursing staff and document care clearly
- Support mealtime assistance and help maintain good nutrition and hydration
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety procedures
- Collaborate with the care team and communicate kindly with residents and their families
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (state-specific credential required)
- Ability to work the assigned day shift hours; facility will confirm specific days
- Prior CNA experience preferred but new graduates with certification are welcome to apply
- Comfort with lifting/transferring residents and following safety protocols
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- CPR/BLS certification preferred (facility may assist with requirements)
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Current CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and safe resident handling
- Basic vital sign measurement and documentation skills
- Familiarity with infection control standards and personal protective equipment
- Strong observational skills to notice and report changes in condition
- Compassionate patient interaction and effective communication with caregivers
