Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility to prevent falls
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in the resident chart
• Assist the care team with daily procedures and follow care plans closely
• Communicate respectfully with residents and families to support person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• State-specific CNA registration or licensure as applicable
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
• Comfort working as part of a collaborative team and following facility protocols

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven skills in patient personal care and assistance with ADLs
• Ability to accurately measure and document vital signs
• Good infection control practices and attention to safety
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents and team members
• Reliable time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
