Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to adult patients on your unit
• Assess patient status, monitor vital signs, and report significant changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update patient care plans
• Document patient care, interventions, and outcomes clearly and timely
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Current LPN license or RN license in good standing (state licensure required)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS/PALS as applicable or preferred
• Current clinical experience in acute care or similar setting preferred
• Ability to pass facility background checks and drug screening
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program (Certificate/LPN diploma, ADN, or BSN depending on role)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and medication administration skills
• Familiarity with electronic health records and clear documentation practices
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Patient education and bedside manner that puts patients at ease
• Basic wound care, IV/infusion familiarity (as applicable to role)
