Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately
• Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
• Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Provide compassionate bedside care and patient education that makes a difference
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians and the care team to support patient outcomes
• Maintain clear, timely electronic charting and handoffs
• Support infection control protocols and help maintain a safe environment

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in North Carolina (or compact privileges if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• 1+ year of clinical nursing experience preferred, acute or long-term care a plus
• Demonstrated medication administration and documentation skills
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen and required onboarding checks

Education

• Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent required
• Associate degree in Practical Nursing or related field preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong medication administration and basic assessment skills
• Comfortable with electronic health record charting
• Patient-focused communication and bedside manner
• Time management and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
• Teamwork and clear communication with interdisciplinary staff
