Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adults in an acute or rehab setting
• Assess and monitor patient condition, reporting changes promptly to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and follow individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and support quality improvement efforts

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico or eligible for state licensure
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Comfortable working extended day shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM) and providing hands-on patient care
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a collaborative team
• Professional attitude, reliability, and commitment to patient safety

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program: ADN or BSN for RNs, accredited LPN program for LPNs

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Medication administration and accurate documentation
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
• Effective communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced care environment
