Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, days of week to be confirmed, night shift (evening/second shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care to older adults, focusing on dignity and respect
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output and other observations accurately
- Support safe mobility and fall prevention by following care plans and facility protocols
- Communicate changes in resident condition promptly to nursing staff and document thoroughly
- Collaborate with nurses and the care team to deliver coordinated, high-quality care
- Help maintain a clean, comfortable and safe environment for residents
Qualifications
- Current Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification — required
- Active state registry status or ability to register in Maryland for the assignment
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain promptly
- Comfortable working the evening/second shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-first attitude
- Ability to follow care plans, document accurately and work as part of a team
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Experience with elder care and assisting with activities of daily living
- Skill in taking and documenting vital signs and resident observations
- Knowledge of infection control and basic safety procedures
- Good interpersonal skills for working with residents, families and clinical teams
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shift periods
