Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents as an LPN
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
- Monitor and document patient conditions, communicating changes promptly
- Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams to support care plans
- Assist with ADLs (activities of daily living) and promote patient comfort and dignity
- Follow facility policies and maintain safety and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Pennsylvania (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
- Recent experience working as an LPN in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting preferred
- Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or vocational nursing diploma
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Basic wound care and monitoring of vital signs
- Familiarity with long-term care workflows and resident-centered care
- Ability to prioritize tasks, triage needs, and work efficiently under pressure
- Comfortable with electronic charting systems and clear clinical documentation
