Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care for residents and patients, helping with activities of daily living
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
• Monitor and document patient status and report changes to the care team
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff to support care plans
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed
• Support a safe, clean, and respectful care environment for all residents

Qualifications

• Current and active LPN license (eligible to practice in Maine preferred)
• Previous LPN experience in long term care, skilled nursing, or similar preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a care team
• Valid immunizations and ability to pass facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program or equivalent vocational nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of medication administration and documentation practices
• Ability to perform resident assessments and recognize changes in condition
• Comfortable using electronic medical records and charting
• Good time management and prioritization in a fast-paced care setting
• Person-centered approach and strong interpersonal skills
