Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
- Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics and lifting equipment
- Document care accurately and on time to keep the care team informed
- Partner with the care team to create a warm, respectful environment for residents
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in good standing (required)
- Ability to pass facility background check and standard health screenings
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Reliable, professional attitude and strong communication skills
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but welcome new grads
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on resident care and ADL assistance
- Basic clinical observation and reporting
- Safe patient handling and infection control practices
- Friendly communication with residents, families and nursing staff
- Time management and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical setting
