Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to assigned patients
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Assess and document patient conditions, changes and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and update care plans
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications and follow-up
• Maintain a safe and clean clinical environment while following infection control protocols
• Communicate clearly with leadership about patient needs and unit workload

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN licensure (must be active and in good standing)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Comfortable with medication administration, charting and patient assessments
• Professional, patient-centered mindset and strong teamwork skills
• Previous acute care or long-term care experience is a plus

Education

• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing or Registered Nursing program
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Effective verbal and written communication with patients and team members
• Familiarity with electronic charting and documentation best practices
• Time management and ability to prioritize tasks in a busy environment
• Basic knowledge of infection prevention and safety protocols
