Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality bedside care to assigned patients
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to orders
• Monitor patient status, record observations, and communicate changes to the care team
• Assist with procedures, wound care, and ADLs to promote patient comfort and recovery
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and interdisciplinary staff to support care plans
• Document care clearly in the electronic medical record to ensure continuity

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in New Mexico (or eligible to obtain) — LPN and RN classifications listed
• Recent clinical experience in acute care or related setting preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or willing to obtain
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-focused environment
• Ability to safely perform duties during overnight shifts

Education

• Graduation from an accredited LPN program; high school diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and monitoring
• Medication administration and documentation
• Basic wound care and ADL assistance
• Familiarity with electronic health records and charting
• Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Time management and prioritization during overnight shifts
