Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in line with facility protocols
• Perform thorough assessments and communicate changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support rehabilitation goals
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
• Support a positive, professional environment that promotes recovery and dignity

Qualifications

• Current and active RN or LPN license (able to practice in New Mexico or willing to obtain)
• Previous clinical experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or similar settings preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain prior to start)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
• Eligible to work as a travel clinician and complete facility onboarding requirements

Education

• RN: Nursing diploma, ADN or BSN preferred
• LPN: Vocational/Practical Nursing diploma or certificate

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and documentation
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and charting best practices
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Good clinical judgment and infection control awareness
• Compassionate bedside manner and patient education skills
