Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients during the night shift
• Perform timely patient assessments and document findings clearly
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
• Respond to emergent situations calmly and effectively
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate, compliant charting in the facility EMR

Qualifications

• Current, active license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse (as applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications a plus
• Clinical experience in acute care or similar settings preferred
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset
• Ability to work the assigned night shift schedule

Education

• LPN: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• RN: Graduate of an accredited associate or bachelor nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and IV site assessment
• Patient assessment and documentation best practices
• Familiarity with common EMR systems and electronic charting
• Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
• Team collaboration and clear bedside communication
