Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on the evening shift
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Assess patient status, monitor vital signs, and document changes promptly
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge plans
• Escalate and communicate clinical changes to the charge nurse or provider
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and complete required documentation

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in the state of Washington (RN preferred)
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Immunizations and TB screening per facility policy
• Ability to work an evening shift schedule (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM)
• Comfortable working in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment; experience preferred
• Pass background check and drug screen as required by facility

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (RN or LPN program completion)
• Active Washington RN or LPN license

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and documentation proficiency
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and charting
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively during busy shifts
• Basic wound care, infection control, and patient safety practices
