Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents at Lofland Park Center
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and execute care plans
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Monitor patient status and communicate changes promptly to providers
• Support admission, discharge and transfer processes to ensure smooth transitions
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications and follow-up needs

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in Delaware (or multistate compact license where applicable)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS or other certifications preferred where relevant
• Previous clinical experience in long-term care, skilled nursing or acute care is a plus
• Strong communication, assessment and documentation skills
• Ability to pass background and health screenings required by the facility

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN or diploma program as appropriate for RN licensure)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of nursing fundamentals, medication administration and wound care
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate charting practices
• Ability to prioritize, triage and manage a dynamic clinical workload
• Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
