Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the assigned area with professionalism and compassion
• Administer medications, treatments and perform procedures according to plan of care
• Monitor patient status, document clinical observations and escalate changes to the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families about treatments, medications and post-discharge care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient record and follow facility policies

Qualifications

• Active LPN license valid in New Mexico (required)
• Experience working in acute or post-acute care settings is preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willing to obtain prior to start
• Ability to work overnight 12+ hour shifts and function effectively during night hours
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN (practical/vocational nursing) program

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and medication administration skills
• Familiarity with nursing documentation and electronic health records
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Team collaboration and clear communication with providers and support staff
• Basic wound care, IV therapy familiarity, and post-acute care knowledge
