Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight hours
• Monitor patient status, document changes, and escalate concerns promptly
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support care plans and patient outcomes
• Perform thorough assessments and maintain clear, professional charting
• Support patient and family education with clarity and empathy
• Contribute to a positive unit culture by mentoring peers and sharing best practices

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license (RN) in New Mexico or eligible for state licensure
• If applying as an LPN, active Licensed Practical Nurse license is required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS/PALS as required by the facility
• Clinical experience in acute care settings preferred; new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome to apply
• Ability to pass facility credentialing and background checks

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) for RNs
• Diploma or Certificate from an accredited Practical Nursing program for LPNs

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills for overnight care
• Excellent communication and teamwork in multidisciplinary environments
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
• Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple patients safely
