Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily nursing care to residents, ensuring dignity and comfort
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
• Assess resident condition changes and communicate effectively with the care team
• Document care activities clearly and maintain accurate medical records
• Support admission, discharge and care planning processes with attention to detail
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing (state licensure required; out-of-state travelers should verify portability)
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Recent clinical experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting preferred
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings

Education

• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN certificate/diploma)
• For RN candidates: Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing as applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Basic assessment and charting skills
• Familiarity with long-term care workflows and resident-centered care
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative communication with interdisciplinary teams and families
