Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care consistent with LPN/RN scope
• Administer medications and document treatments accurately and timely
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and safe discharge plans
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to facility policies and safety protocols
• Support smooth shift handoffs and communicate critical information clearly

Qualifications

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse license (state of North Carolina) required
• Current BLS/CPR certification required; additional certifications welcomed
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
• Comfortable working within established nursing scope and following facility protocols
• Professional, patient-focused attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program
• High school diploma or equivalent required for licensure eligibility

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in medication administration and accurate clinical documentation
• Solid patient assessment and monitoring abilities
• Familiarity with infection control and safety best practices
• Experience using electronic health records and charting systems
• Strong communication, time management, and prioritization skills
