Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients thoroughly and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions to improve mobility and function
• Measure and document patient progress with clear, timely notes
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and rehab team members to optimize care
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safe mobility
• Adapt treatments based on patient response and clinical best practices
• Support a positive, patient-centered environment that values dignity and recovery

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in Pennsylvania or eligible to obtain one
• Active Basic Life Support certification or willingness to obtain it
• Previous experience in inpatient or skilled nursing rehab settings preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Valid credentials and ability to pass facility onboarding and background checks

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred, or Bachelor's/Master's in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and treatment planning
• Therapeutic exercise, gait training, and transfers
• Documentation and electronic health record proficiency
• Pain management strategies and mobility recovery techniques
• Interdisciplinary team collaboration
• Time management and caseload prioritization
