Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight hours
• Perform accurate patient assessments and timely documentation
• Administer medications and treatments safely and per orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support care plans
• Monitor patient status and escalate changes to the appropriate clinicians
• Support admissions, discharges and transfers with clear communication
• Maintain infection control standards and safe clinical practices

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in good standing (active licensure required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications welcomed
• Previous acute care or med-surg experience preferred
• Ability to work overnight shifts and provide reliable patient care
• Excellent communication skills and a teamwork mindset

Education

• LPN: Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
• RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical observation skills
• Medication administration and IV/site care knowledge
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and documentation
• Infection prevention and safety best practices
• Prioritization and critical thinking in fast-paced situations
• Professional bedside manner and patient education ability
