Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to licensed nursing staff
• Perform bedside care tasks such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Document care accurately and timely using facility systems
• Support a safe, clean environment by following infection control and safety protocols
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care and improve resident outcomes

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — required
• Ability to work night shift hours (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Comfortable with direct patient care and lifting/transfer assistance as needed
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Ability to pass facility-required background checks and health screenings

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assistance with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
• Knowledge of basic vital signs and how to report trends
• Familiarity with infection control and PPE best practices
• Good documentation practices and attention to detail
• Teamwork, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills with residents and families
