Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adults in the assigned unit
• Administer medications and treatments accurately, following facility protocols
• Monitor and record vital signs, report changes in patient condition promptly
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the care team to ensure safe, coordinated care
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient record
• Support patient and family education, offering guidance and reassurance
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and safe patient transfers

Qualifications

• Active LPN license (Registered Nurse candidates also welcome if applying as RN)
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or obtained upon hire
• Comfortable working a 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM day shift schedule
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required for placement
• Professional, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program (or Associate/Bachelor of Science in Nursing for RN applicants)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong fundamentals in patient assessment and bedside care
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Infection control and patient safety principles
• Effective communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate charting
• Time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced clinical setting
