Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in your assigned area
• Assess patient condition, monitor vital signs, and report changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient care plans
• Document patient care activities clearly and timely in the medical record
• Provide patient and family education to promote healing and understanding
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed to keep the unit running smoothly

Qualifications

• Current, active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license (appropriate to role)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred where applicable
• Recent clinical experience in a relevant care setting; travel experience a plus
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to fast-paced environments
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• LPN: Graduate of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
• RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and monitoring
• Medication administration and documentation
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
• Infection control and safety best practices
• Prioritization and time management during busy shifts
• Collaborative teamwork and clear communication
