Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care following care plans and facility protocols
• Administer medications and document patient responses accurately and timely
• Monitor patient conditions, report changes to the interdisciplinary team, and escalate concerns
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers while ensuring a smooth patient experience
• Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and physicians to deliver coordinated, high-quality care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in New Mexico or compact/state equivalency as required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Previous clinical experience as an LPN preferred; new grads with strong clinical training considered
• Comfort working overnight shifts and managing patient needs across the shift
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid fundamentals in medication administration and basic nursing assessments
• Comfort with electronic medical records and accurate charting
• Ability to prioritize and respond quickly to changing patient conditions
• Infection control practices and adherence to facility policies
• Customer-focused approach to patient and family interactions
