Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Perform routine patient assessments and communicate changes to the care team
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to develop and follow care plans
• Maintain patient safety and infection control standards at all times
• Support patient and family education with clear, respectful communication
• Accurately complete electronic and paper charting and shift handoffs

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license valid in New Mexico
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required
• Ability to work scheduled shifts: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• Comfortable with medication administration, wound care, and patient assessments
• Able to pass background check, drug screen, and meet facility immunization requirements
• Previous LPN experience preferred but motivated new grads from accredited programs are encouraged to apply

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent LPN training

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical skills in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
• Patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
• Clear, empathetic patient and family communication
• Accurate documentation and basic computer/EMR proficiency
• Team collaboration and the ability to follow care plans and physician orders
• Time management for busy 12.5-hour shifts
