Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for residents on the evening shift
• Assess and monitor patient conditions, identifying changes and escalating concerns promptly
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Maintain timely, thorough documentation in the patient record
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans
• Support admissions, discharges and transfers as needed to keep the unit running smoothly
• Respond effectively to emergencies and participate in facility safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active Washington Registered Nurse license or Licensed Practical Nurse license (RN preferred)
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting preferred
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well on a collaborative team
• Ability to pass facility background checks and required health screenings

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program (ADN/BSN preferred for RNs)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Experience with electronic medical records and accurate charting
• Skilled at prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced evening shift
• Comfortable working collaboratively with nursing assistants and allied staff
