Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adult patients
• Perform thorough assessments and develop action plans to improve outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and discharge planning
• Document patient care in the electronic medical record with clarity and timeliness
• Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Mexico (or Compact RN license if applicable); LPN candidates may also apply as indicated
• Current BLS required; ACLS preferred or as required by unit
• Clinical experience in acute care settings preferred (travel-friendly new opening)
• Strong patient assessment and medication administration skills
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass facility onboarding requirements
• Willingness to work a 12+ hour day shift as scheduled

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred where noted by facility

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in patient assessment, care planning, and clinical judgement
• Medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation best practices
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and remain calm under pressure
• Basic knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
