Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the evening shift
• Assess residents, monitor vital signs, and act on changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document patient information clearly and timely in the charting system
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members to support resident outcomes
• Educate residents and families about care plans and discharge instructions
• Support a positive, respectful environment for residents and coworkers

Qualifications

• Active Washington Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license; Registered Nurse preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Valid immunizations and any facility-specific health requirements
• Professional bedside manner and strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently during evening shift and collaborate with team members

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Familiarity with electronic charting systems
• Basic wound care and infection control knowledge
• Time management and ability to prioritize in a busy setting
• Teamwork and clear communication with patients, families, and staff
