Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside nursing care and put patient comfort first
• Administer medications, document accurately, and follow care plans
• Perform assessments and report changes in patient condition promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Support admissions, discharges, and safe patient transitions
• Maintain infection control standards and ensure patient safety
• Chart in the electronic health record with clarity and timeliness

Qualifications

• Active LPN license (Maine preferred or compact/ability to obtain state licensure)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Previous acute care or long term care experience preferred
• Current immunizations and ability to pass background and drug screen
• Professional, dependable, and patient-centered attitude

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent
• Additional nursing education or certifications are a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
• Comfortable with electronic charting and documentation
• Excellent communication with patients, families, and team members
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
