Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered overnight nursing care to residents
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
• Perform timely assessments, monitor vital signs, and document changes in condition
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and update individualized care plans
• Respond effectively to emergencies and escalate concerns to providers as needed
• Support patients and families with clear communication and emotional care
• Maintain clinical documentation in the facility’s systems and ensure regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (eligible to practice in Delaware or multistate compact license if applicable)
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred where applicable
• Previous clinical experience as an RN; long-term care or med-surg experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work overnight hours reliably and provide high-quality patient care
• Comfortable with electronic charting and standard nursing documentation practices

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) required for RN

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Proficiency with medication administration and documentation
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced overnight environment
