Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients on the assigned unit during night shifts
• Administer medications, document care, and monitor patient responses with attention to detail
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient-centered care
• Perform assessments, update care plans, and communicate changes to physicians and families
• Support admissions, discharges, and transfers to keep patient flow efficient and safe
• Model professional behavior, maintain accurate records, and follow facility policies

Qualifications

• Valid LPN license – New Mexico license preferred or ability to obtain before start date
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Previous experience as an LPN in an acute care or long-term care setting is highly valued
• Comfortable with medication administration, IV documentation basics, and electronic charting
• Ability to work the scheduled night shifts (Wed-Fri, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM) and collaborate in a team environment

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program; high school diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and vital signs monitoring skills
• Proficient in medication administration and accurate documentation
• Good communication skills for handoffs and coordinating with interdisciplinary team
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Basic familiarity with electronic health record systems
