Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care with dignity and respect
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to maintain a healthy environment
- Document care accurately and timely in facility records
- Collaborate with the care team to support individualized care plans
- Support a positive, professional atmosphere that enhances resident quality of life
Qualifications
- Current LNA certification (Licensed Nursing Assistant) in good standing
- Ability to work the assigned evening shift and weekends as required by the facility
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and working directly with residents
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain if required by facility
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved LNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on resident care and assistance with ADLs
- Basic clinical observation and reporting skills
- Infection control and safety best practices
- Clear, compassionate communication with residents, families, and staff
- Reliable documentation and time-management skills
- Adaptability to changing assignments and facility needs
