Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care for residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Take and report vital signs and observe changes in condition to keep the care team informed
• Assist with mobility, transfer, and safe positioning while promoting resident dignity
• Support personal care needs including bathing, grooming, and meal assistance
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with nurses and the interdisciplinary team
• Follow infection control practices and facility policies to maintain a safe environment

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification required
• T-LNA credentials accepted and welcomed
• Ability to work weekends as required by the facility
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility health/immunization requirements
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but not mandatory

Education

• Certified Nursing Assistant / Licensed Nursing Assistant certification
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in resident care and basic nursing procedures
• Comfortable taking vital signs and reporting clinical changes
• Knowledge of ADLs, safe transfers, and mobility assistance
• Familiarity with infection control and standard precautions
• Good documentation and basic charting skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team
