Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Take and record vital signs, reporting changes promptly to the nursing team
• Support bathing, dressing, mobility assistance, and toileting with dignity and respect
• Document resident care accurately and timely in the facility record system
• Collaborate with nurses and care team members to implement care plans
• Promote a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and families
• Participate in shift handoffs and communicate important resident information

Qualifications

• Current LNA license in good standing
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Comfortable working day shift hours and covering every other weekend
• Ability to pass facility background checks and required health screenings
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; experience in long-term care preferred

Education

• High school diploma or GED; completion of an approved LNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and resident care practices
• Ability to perform safe transfers and use appropriate body mechanics
• Basic infection control and safety awareness
• Good documentation and time management skills
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
