Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the evening shift
• Administer medications and document medication administration accurately
• Monitor patients’ conditions and promptly report changes to the care team
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident care plans
• Perform nursing procedures and wound care according to facility protocols
• Maintain clear, timely charting and handoffs to ensure continuity of care
• Support residents and families with education and compassionate communication

Qualifications

• Current, active RN or LPN license (RN preferred) — eligible to practice in Washington
• Relevant clinical experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting is a plus
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or diploma; BSN preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and vital signs monitoring
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Familiarity with long-term care workflows and resident-centered care
• Skilled at clear, concise charting and electronic health record navigation
• Ability to prioritize tasks during a busy evening shift and adapt to changing needs
• Teamwork and effective communication with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams
