Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the evening shift
- Administer medications and document medication administration accurately
- Monitor patients’ conditions and promptly report changes to the care team
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident care plans
- Perform nursing procedures and wound care according to facility protocols
- Maintain clear, timely charting and handoffs to ensure continuity of care
- Support residents and families with education and compassionate communication
Qualifications
- Current, active RN or LPN license (RN preferred) — eligible to practice in Washington
- Relevant clinical experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting is a plus
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or diploma; BSN preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical assessment and vital signs monitoring
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Familiarity with long-term care workflows and resident-centered care
- Skilled at clear, concise charting and electronic health record navigation
- Ability to prioritize tasks during a busy evening shift and adapt to changing needs
- Teamwork and effective communication with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams
